浅谈英语复杂句的翻译
【摘要】：苏珊·巴斯内特，安德烈·勒菲弗尔合著的《文化构建—文学翻译论集》是翻译研究史上一部具有里程碑意义的著作。本书主要谈论的是：中西翻译理论之比较，可译性限度，翻译何时不是翻译，为什么文化在某一特定时期要培养特定的风格，翻译研究和文化研究是什么关系等。
本论文以翻译这本书前五个部分之实践经验为例，主要探讨英语复杂句的翻译方法，共分四章：第一章，简要介绍原著及意义；第二章，简述翻译过程；第三章，个案分析，从所译材料中选了几个典型的例子；最后是结论，表明英语复杂句的翻译是一项具有挑战性的任务，即使是对富有经验的译者来说也是如此。虽然许多学者对此已做过探讨，但仍值得继续深入研究。
本论文着重讨论英语复杂句的翻译，强调复杂句的翻译首先要分析和理解句子的逻辑结构，理清隐藏在语言背后的思维模式，然后再用地道的汉语句式表达出来，最后还要多次校对，这样才能得到忠实通顺的译文。
近年来，英语长句的翻译研究已引起越来越多人的兴趣，但对长句的定义莫衷一是，总说纷纭，而且以往总结出来的翻译方法太过笼统和理论化，不便于实际操作。鉴于此，本文将题目定为“浅谈英语复杂句的翻译”，用“复杂句”代替“长句”，是因为“长句”是一个模糊概念，而“复杂句”在英语语法中有明确的量化指标。而且本文采用图形来展现翻译个案分析，使得翻译思路一目了然，便于复制操作。
迄今为止，这本书的原著在中国尚未有中译本，希望此次翻译能使中国读者更了解外国的翻译研究，并对此学科产生兴趣。

Ending with -er
There is an extensive usage of English words
ending with &er in the English language, and such words merit
detailed study. In translation of English words ending with &er,
flexibility should be adopted so as to ensure the readability and
fluency of in Chinese-English translation,
English &er words can be used and added, so as to bring its
advantage into full play.

我同学说wake up 可以做名称,但是我查不到它是名词
