The Career I Pursue
Nowadays there are many professions for us to pursue, for
example, worker, teacher, writer, and so on. It is of
great importance to be careful when choosing a career. Among
all these professions I have made up my mind to be a

第二，有同学提出，博文中所给出的短语是不是太多了，让人看了就觉得有压力。这一点需要跟大家说明一下，让大家学习预制语块的目的就是想让大家对英语知识多些积累，这样在写作文的时候就不会觉得词穷，而且当文章中重复出现某一词语时，大家可以用不同的英文进行表达。在这样的积累阶段，大量的记忆和练习是不可避免的。
另外，大家应该有这样的意识，即看到的、记下的预制语块应该频繁地应用到作文中去，只有这样不断地记忆、实践，大家头脑中的预制语块储备才会不断扩大。

Today I'll talk about our English club. Our English club was set up two months ago. Now we have 25 members. We meet every Saturday afternoon. So far, we have conducted a variety of activities on English learning, such as watching English films, having a Christmas party and getting together with foreign students. Last week we held an English story-telling contest which required that the entries be original, interesting, and presented in English within five minutes. Every member took part in this exercise. Two foreign English teachers were invited to act as judges.
