Abstract:During April 2009 to March 2010 the author researched and collected fish species in Wushui River at Huaihua. In the article, the shapes of the swim bladder and its vessel for 10 kinds of common freshwater fishes are compared by conventional anatomical methods in order to further find out the relations between the swim bladder and the ecological adaption, evolution disciplines and systematic classification, and to provide the basic study materials for the shape growth of fishes. The result shows swim bladders can be regarded as one of the basis for the classification of fishes. Culter of Cyprinidae often has 3-room swim bladder, while Gobioninae, Rhodeus and Cyprininae has 2-room one and Perciformes has 1-room one. The start direction of the swim bladder vessel differs from the subfamily of fishes. the shape and structure of the swim bladder and the start direction of its vessel are closely related with the breath method and living habits.

Doctor are known to be terrible pilots. They don’t listen because they already know it all. I was lucky：I became a pilot in 1970, almost ten years before I graduated from medical school.
