　　每个人都会看到世界不同的一面。这些不同的侧面交互拼接，构成了更大的视野。
　　当我们看到他人眼中的那一面时，我们或许会感同身受，或许会深受鼓舞，或许会继续深入探寻这个故事背后的一切。这便是Great Big Story建立伊始的根基――好奇心。
　　这里有几个来自Great Big Story的故事：
　　1、美国的国父们都超级爱喝酒的，后来本杰明?富兰克林写了一本228个词的词典，全部都是来自十三个殖民地里不同的形容“酩酊大醉”的词。
　　2、墨尔本当地树艺师西蒙?埃德蒙顿做了一项极有意义的工作：延长城市中一些古树的生命。他带着他的大电锯爬到高树上，从一些被迫移走的古树上切割下一部分枝叶，争取在城市里别的地方延续参天大树的寿命。
　　3、美籍华裔蒙古族吉他手那图尔?冈根白噶在短片里向观众讲述了他的个人音乐追求：将蒙古族音乐文化中的呼麦技艺和重金属音乐融合起来，试图在这种既富有野性、又充满神秘感的音乐中寻找到自己的自由与和他人的共鸣。

　　Great Big Story是一个全英文的视频平台，目前上线的内容都还没有中文字幕或介绍(好吧大概要被吐槽了)。这些短片让我想到了央视的一些公益广告，会讲述一些故事或者小知识，拍摄虽精美，但却总给人“演戏”的感觉。相比之下Great Big Story的团队会用更带客观陈述视角的短片和视野更加宽广的故事吸引我，当我看明白了大致的内容时，可能听不懂其中的一些细节也无伤大雅了。
　　Great Big Story像在大海捞针去寻找故事，但他们每捡起一根针就会用尽全力去打磨，这才是这个平台最吸引我的地方。
