出道第十年的潘玮柏，经历了从男孩到男人的生命转折，跨足歌唱、戏剧和主持三个不同领域，潘玮柏笑着说，他应该是有史以来出最多唱片的VJ，他说他没有准备在演艺圈再待下一个十年，或许转战幕后，或许环游世界，到一个没有人认识他的地方生活。三十岁的潘玮柏依然跟二十岁的他一样帅气有型，但比二十岁时更清楚自己的未来想要什么。
唱歌的自己最快乐
以唱片歌手为目标，却以VJ身份出道，潘玮柏说他最爱的还是唱歌，他大概也是唯一发了8张专辑还办过演唱会的VJ，之前两次脚受伤的经验，让他在休养的那段时间累积更多做音乐的经验。近年开始接触戏剧演出，对潘玮柏来说，演戏很有趣，不但可以体验剧中角色不一样的人生，也让自己看事情和观察别人时多了不同的思考逻辑和角度。想要挑战各种角色的潘玮柏也说，电影是他一直想尝试的部分，虽然有许多机会，甚至有来自好莱坞的邀约，但因为角色的关系，让他婉拒了这些演出机会。不过，在这次的新专辑《808》当中，潘玮柏也透过音乐电影的方式，诠释了他从未尝试过的杀手角色，让他过足戏瘾。潘玮柏也说，如果要他选的话，他还是觉得唱歌的自己最快乐，因为那些才是他最想让大家看见的自己，才是他最想和别人分享的人生。
从男孩到男人的顿悟
「以前的我希望大家都能开心，所以我选择很多话都绕着弯说，甚至讲很多场面话想要讨好每个人欢心，最后发现这样的相处下来，真正的好朋友却没有几个。现在的我，开始用直来直往的方式和人相处，因为我也希望别人对我可以直来直往，这样才能知道彼此的心里真正的想法，说我唱歌难听，说我舞跳得烂也无所谓，只要不是恶意的批评，我都很想去听别人的意见，听听别人怎么看『潘玮柏』这个人，而这样的转变，也让我更清楚，哪些是真正知心的好朋友。」出道第十年的潘玮柏，历经了从男孩到男人的过程，在30岁生日那天，他没有进入三字头的恐慌，反而像是一种茅塞顿开的醒悟，让他更清楚知道，自己想要的人生是什么，自己要追求的目标是什么，也更坚持自己的想法。

9月18日，“I’mWILL潘玮柏未来世界2009世界巡回演唱会——上海站”将在虹口足球场举行。这是距上一次“反转地球”演唱会后，潘帅两年来首次在内地举行个唱。两年时间，对一个青春偶像来说，意义非凡——有人可以蹿红，有人可以速朽。这两年，潘帅不敢懈怠，开店、出唱片、演偶像剧……事业全方位开拓，偶尔，还要谈那么两次绯闻恋爱引各路小报追踪。真的也好，假的也罢，伴随青春流逝的是与日俱增的成熟
上海的特殊意义
7月初，就在陈冠希开在长乐路的鞋店的原址上，潘玮柏和好朋友李晨一块开了一家崭新的潮流店，一点不忌讳陈冠希的倒霉经历。新店重新装修，主要售卖原创设计的潮流服饰以及限量版潮物。潘帅自认这几年在娱乐圈的浸淫让他积累了不少的时尚理念，“能凸显自己个性就是潮流的，自己喜欢的东西就应该是能让更多人一起来分享的。”一次很偶然的机会与李晨聊起，想到何不把自己的收藏与大家一起交流分享？于是就有了这个潮店。“不多想以后赚多少钱，就想能和大家一起探讨时尚潮流趋势，如果能够在自己喜爱的音乐和潮流品里找到切合点就足矣！”目前，新店开业已一个月，据说生意很不错。

Will Pan is back with his seventh studio album 007!
By all accounts, you have to concur that American-born Taiwanese artiste Will Pan (as he prefers to be called these days), 29, possesses strong staying power. He had a bumpy start in his entertainment career in 2000 as the host of Channel V programmes (and being so nondescript that he often got mistaken for his more famous colleagues), but moved on to become a recording artiste in 2002 and later expanded his repertoire in the entertainment industry. Will even acted in some idol dramas and got involved in writing and producing his own songs.
Hence today, Will can proudly call himself a singer-songwriter-rapper-actor-producer. teens chats with Will Pan in his current capacity as a Hip-hop Secret Agent!
