Step 1: Prepare

Step 2: Lodge your application through a Tertiary Admission Centre
If you have not previously studied at UNE, apply to study for an on-campus undergraduate degree through a Tertiary Admission Centre (TAC). You have 2 choices:& UAC or QTAC.The TACs operate on a year round application system.You will have opportunities to change your preferences after you have submitted your application. You can submit an application after the closing date, but a late fee applies.UAC and QTAC receive applications from:Year 12 applicantsHolders of a Year 12 qualificationNon-Year 12 applicants&Australian or New Zealand citizensPermanent residents of AustraliaHolders of Australian permanent resident humanitarian visas.Are you an international student? Step 3: Consider advanced standing and a scholarship
Advanced standingHave you completed studies elsewhere that may be relevant to the course you're applying for at UNE? If yes, you could be eligible for .ScholarshipsYou may like to consider one of the many& available&for students commencing on-campus study. Most application rounds for scholarships open in July and close at the end of September.
Step 4: Receiving and accepting an offer
Receiving an offer of entry to UNEAfter your application has been processed through one of the Tertiary Application Centre, you'll receive an offer according to your eligible stated preferences.There are several rounds of offers. You will receive one offer at a time for the highest eligible preference on your application. Step 5: Enrol
Enrolling with UNE is easy! &After accepting your offer, you need to enrol. UNE will send you an information package that guides you through the online enrolment process via our student portal, .You can also find answers to questions about the process through AskUNE in the right-hand column.

If you need to gain qualifications for university entry, our enabling courses could help you reach your goal. Completion of the Pathways Enabling Course provides the basis for admission to most undergraduate courses at UNE.
Regional Australia residents — your bonus points
If you live in a regional, rural or remote location, UNE's Regional Bonus Scheme adds 5 points to your ATAR, OP (or equivalent).This scheme reflects the University's commitment to social inclusion principles. The scheme complements UNE's long-established Early Entry Admissions Scheme for domestic Year 12 and TAFE students (see section below).

Early Entry Admissions SchemeIf you are a Year 12 or TAFE student enrolling to study on-campus at UNE, you may be eligible for our long-established Early Entry Admissions Scheme.UNE's Early Entry program lets you apply for university before you sit your Year 12 exams so you can secure your place early and take some of the stress out of the exam period.The UNE Early Entry program relies on your school's carefully balanced assessment of your ability to cope with study
at university, rather than your ATAR or OP (or equivalent) score.There are two ways you can apply for Early Entry: either directly to UNE, or when you apply to the Universities Admission Centre.
