一个英语问题
The door opens just a crack and an arm sticks/appears ,ticket in hand.这里的an arm后面是用sticks还是用appears呢？老师说要用appears，因为形容手伸出来不能用stick旦弗测煌爻号诧铜超扩，stick多指某物（如树枝、棍子等）伸出来、突出来，如果这里非要用“伸出来”的意思就用reach out。我觉得老师说的有道理，可是我在别的地方查到说形容手、头等身体部位伸出来也可以用stick的呀。那么这里到底能不能用stick呢？求详细解释，谢谢！

老师的答案 对。因为这里 需要用不及物动词，stick确实 有伸出 。。。的意思，但 那是及物动词 ，后面必须有 身体部位作宾语旦弗测煌爻号诧铜超扩。如果 非用stick 应该是 and he sticks an arm,....或 and an arm is stuck,...

可以。reach out 也可以 当 不及物动词用如 reach out further 手再伸出些 。 我记得好像有 包括高考7000单词 的100 句 你可以搜一下。

stick 也可以表示把身体的一部分伸到某个位置，让别人看到。见朗文词典英英原版解释：If you stick a part of your body somewhere，you put it in a position where other people ca旦弗测煌爻号诧铜超扩n see itBaby sticks his leg in the air Don't stick your tongue out，it's rude。
那么就是说这里也可以用sticks咯？
当然，但是一般用 stick your arm 而不是 an arm stick，所以此处用appears 是对的
你的意思就是说当表示“伸出身体的某一部位”时，stick多用作及物动词而不是非及物动词？
对，是这个意思，不过现在语法没那么严谨，你看看如今的汉语言的使用还有语文书上那么多语法限制吗。不过考试就另说了，所以stick有用到the head stuck out 。。。时，不要纠结。
可是老师还说stick可以用来表示身体某部位长了个突起的东西（比如说瘤子什么的），这个我不大认同啊。。到底可以吗？

其实参考书不重要，重要的是要多阅读才能行啊，语言学习就是重复，积累，没有捷径。
老师必竟是比你读的书多，要相信老师，同时我觉得老师解释的有道理，还不清楚的话可以去找另一个老师问

即动作发生在过去的过去。我不理解你为什么会提出用过去完成时，在这个句子中找不到过去的过去这个时间？ 这里你应该把that后看成一个整体，所以就不用过去完成时，that引导同位语从句这个句子你只需看Nothing should be touched until the police arrived here？是不是看到了前面的left。（不可以碰任何东西直到警察来了） had arrived 过去完成时，跟until没有关系，这个就是主谓宾结构完整的一个句子，即that后的部分等价于orders，这样你就发现没有过去的过去这个时间。 He left orders.句意是在警察到达之前任何东西都不许被触碰

直接用过去时就可以了，不用过去完成时，表示“直到……才”这里，警察到达发生在后not……until为固定搭配
