说到Chardonnay我们不能不提法国的勃艮第，如果说Chardonnay是白葡萄品种的王后，那么勃艮第就是世界白葡萄酒的中心帝国。世界上最贵最出色的Chardonnay来自勃艮第的Cote
de Beaune，而作为Cote de Beaune的八大Grand
Cru之一的Corton-Charlemagne早在1000年前早已闻名遐迩，罗马国王Charlemagne亲自以自己的名字命名了这块土地。
Louis Latour是勃艮第最早最赋予盛名的酒商之一。Louis
Latour家族的葡萄酒生涯始于17世纪，在其拥有的50公顷的葡萄园中Grand
Cru的数量最多，其酿造的所有葡萄酒均来自自己的葡萄园。 Louis
Latour在秉承传统的同时也进行了各个层面的技术革新。从1985年开始以Domaine Louis
Latour名字销售葡萄酒。
Corton-Charlemagne坐落在Corton山坡最精华的一块葡萄园上。19世纪末的根瘤蚜虫病使Louis
Latour将其种植的Pinot
Noir与Aligote全部铲除，种上了Chardonnay。葡萄园东南朝向保证了充足的日照。葡萄的采摘要等到葡萄充分成熟以后才会进行，保证了葡萄原料高的质量。经过橡木桶酒精发酵及100%的乳酸发酵，之后又经过了8至10个月的法国新橡木桶的陈酿。
这款酒入鼻开发热烈，有着丰富有力的气味，主要是柑橘类水果及其它热带水果的味道。入口香气四溢，有新鲜杏仁，蜂蜜与香草混合的味道。虽然作为干白，但次酒有非常结实紧密的结构性，结束干净有力，却不失细腻高雅。
余香挂齿，久久不散。陈放4-5年次酒可以达到最佳的饮用状态，更加的圆润，和谐平衡。有一定的陈年能力，可以达到20年。
推荐理由：此酒作为勃艮第Chardonnay最出色的典范之一有着较高的品质，同时也是比较有代表性的。当然价格也不菲，往往达到千元以上。但却是一些豪华餐厅宴会与高品质大餐不可替代的葡萄酒。

Cognac is rarely born of a single eau-de-vie or a single growing area, but generally from a blend of different ages and crus, sometimes up to a hundred of them.It can be made also exclusively from certain “cru”, for example exclusively from “Grande Champagne”, but of different ages. Grande Champagne : about 13,000 hectares of clay and compact chalk soil. The Grande Champagne cru is located around the town of Segonzac. It produces a very fine, high-quality Cognac. It is known as the Premier Cru du Cognac.
