Abstract: Obj ective: To explore the therapeutic effectsof combination of varicocelectomyw ithhyperbaric oxygenation(H O) in treating in
fertile patientsw ith varicocele.
M ethods: Nintysix patientsw ere randomly divided into two groups: 40 patients in group A treated by vari
cocelectomy w ith H O, and56 in group
treatedby solitary varicocectomy.
Results: The sperm denisty, sperm motility, sperm vigor, nor
mality, serum testosterone, the pregnant rate ofpatients' spouseswere mi proved respectively in both wt o groups (P & 0. 01 orP & 0. 05), and
groupA had better results than group (P & 0. 05)
