《上海学生英文报》“双语小记者团”新年晚会
今晚，我们是舞台上的主角！

——《上海学生英文报》双语小记者团自排自演新年晚会
12月27日，一台由《上海学生英文报》全体双语学生记者共同演出的新年晚会在解放日报大楼多功能厅顺利举行。参与演出的小记者共80余名，其中年龄最小的只有小学五年级，最大的为高中二年级，前来观摩的观众则是小记者们的家长和同学。整台晚会演出将近3个小时，节目包括英语短剧、趣味相声、乐器表演、跆拳道展示、服装秀，以及由外籍组小记者们带来的音乐短剧等共16个节目，整台晚会从主持人到节目编排均由小记者们自己担任并完成。
作为年终总结大会，小记者们还通过视频与大家一起回顾了一学期来小记者们参与过的各项活动和他们的收获，这让在座的家长们也分享到了小记者们的欢乐和喜悦，感受到了小记者团温馨和谐的气氛。不少家长都特地举起手中相机、DV，为孩子记录下这他们精彩的表演。小记者家长王女士表示，小记者团作为一项公益活动，能够让孩子们在繁重的学习之余，有一个广阔的舞台来锻炼自己、展现自己，她为此感到非常高兴和欣慰：“今晚，小记者们是舞台上的主角！”
本次晚会上，解放教育传媒《上海学生英文报》总经理秦宇还在晚会上为小记者们颁发了“十佳双语小记者团”、“活动积极分子”、“优秀文章奖”等奖项。（图片为现场学生表演以及颁奖仪式）

The Seven Wonders of the Acient Worldis a listing of notableobjects made between 3000 BC and 476 AD.
1. Temple of Artemis at Ephesus
It was built about 550 BC and was dedicated tothe Greek goddess, Artemis. It was one of the largest and most complicatedtemples built in ancient times. It was burned down in 356 BC, was
rebuilt, and burned down again in 262 AD.
2. The Colossus of Rhodes
The huge bronzestatue was about as tall as the Statue of Liberty. People built it to show respect to the Greek sun god, Helios. The
statue was built over 12 years in the early 200s BC. It was destroyedby an earthquakein 224 BC.
3. The Hanging Gardens of Babylon
It was built by a Babylon king called Nebuchadnezzar IIfor one of his wives. A Babylonian priestof the 200s BC describedthe gardens. His words are the only information that we have about
the wonder. Scientists are still not sure where the gardens exactly were.
4. The Great Pyramid of Giza
It is the oldest and best preservedof all the ancient wonders and is the only ancient wonder that
existstoday. Three pyramids were built as tombs for Egyptian kings about
2600 to 2500 BC. The largest of the three is the Great Pyramid of Giza. It is
450 ft high and occupies13 acres.
5. The Mausoleum at Halicarnassus
It was a huge, white marble tomb built about 353 BC. It was built for
a ruler of the Persian Empirecalled Mausolus. The tombs huge size made it so famous that all large tombs are now
calledmausoleums. It had 36 special columns. Its upper part was destroyed by an earthquake.
6. The Lighthouse of Alexandria
It stood over 400 ft high on an island of ancient
was so famous thatpharoscame to meanlighthouse. The lighthouses structurewas very special: the bottom was square, the middle was octagonaland the top was circular. It stood for 1,500 yrs before it was destroyed by an
earthquake.
7. The Statue of Zeus at Olympia
It was the most famous statue of the ancient world. It was dedicated
to the Greek god, Zeus, the king of the gods. The statue was made of gold and
ivory. It was made about 435 BC by a Greek sculptor. The statue no longer exists.
