本次“英国周”活动每个班级也制作了各国戏剧知识的中英文展板,在底楼大厅向师生介绍中英两国艺术、文学方面的常识与知识;周一上午在实训楼五楼报告厅开展了形式多样的课程交流活动,两校学生相处融洽,在《天上掉下个林妹妹》的曲乐声中载歌载舞;周二下午的第三节课部分教师将为同学开设关于中英文化、风情、影视方面的精彩讲座,;周四下午在二楼阶梯教室将举行本届“英国周”闭幕式,为中英双方师生展示我校学生积极向上、青春灿烂的精神面貌。
这是我们第5年与英国山顿中学合作交流,随着网络的发达,随着双方交流的默契成都的增加,我们的交流比前几年更顺畅和便捷。相信在今后的合作中会有更令人满意的结果。

On the 23rd of May, our school announced the opening of the annual &British Week&, also known as the &cultural exchange feast& for both the Chinese and the British students.
Between 2010 and 2011, the Sandon School of the Great Britain and our school have co-organized a 1-year cultural exchange program, maintaining the focus on literature and the art of drama, for the purpose of facilitating learning (the &Exchange Program&). The Exchange Program was to integrate the art of drama into learning. It's accomplished by means of exchanging the teaching methods and sharing the knowledge on cultural development of literature and arts, so that further understanding of both cultures could be achieved.
Both schools have selected the following themes for an in-depth coverage and analysis:
1. To explore the origins of the B
2. To learn about the history and development of the B
3. To appreciate the British master pieces by William S
4. To compare and analyse the differences in the art of drama between the Chinese and British cultures.
As a result of the Exchange Program, both the Chinese and the British students managed to enhance their perception of the other culture. At the same time, the Exchange Program sparkled the students' passion and appreciation for the cultures of their own. Also through the interpretation of a foreign culture, new thoughts, insights and ideas emerged. There's one thing worth mentioning. Either under teachers' nomination or self-nomination, five students have participated and brought the English drama &The Merchant of Venice& to the stage. All of them have made earnest effort to learn about the characters in the play and the language use through hands-on participation.
For this &British Week&, every class had set up project boards displaying information on the art of drama from various cultures. In the ground floor school hall, materials on background information as well as the basic premises of the art of drama were on display, both the Chinese and British dramas. On Monday, various workshops and exchange activities commenced at the Conference Hall located on the fifth floor of the Training Building in the afternoon. Students from both schools mingled well, particularly when the song &Sister Lin has fallen from heaven& was playing, the students were so joyous that they sang and danced along. On Tuesday, a seminar on the &cultures, customs and performing arts of both the Chinese and British heritage& was hosted by several teachers during the third class session in the afternoon. On Thursday, there was a closing ceremony for the &British Week& scheduled to be held at the Lecture Hall on the second floor in the afternoon. The closing ceremony was to reveal the progressiveness and enthusiasm of our young students to both schools.
This was the fifth Exchange Program co-organized by the Sandon School of the Great Britain and our school. Along with the aid of internet communication, both schools became connected and the Exchange Program has been carried out much more smoothly and efficiently. We trust that more satisfactory results will be achieved in the future joint exchange programs.
