Watch your favorite English language TV show or movie, and as the characters speak, repeat loudly the exact words they are saying the moment you hear them. In other words, 'shadow' their dialog in real-time. Don't worry about getting every word or sound right - focus on listening carefully, moving along quickly and keeping pace. After the movie ends, repeat the exact same movie and do it again. And again.
看你最喜欢的英语电视节目或电影,在听到里面人物说话的同时,大声重复他们所说的每一个单词。换句话说,就是要实时“追踪”他们的对话。不要担心能不能听懂或读对每个单词——集中注意力认真听,快速跟读并保持节奏。电影结束以后,再一遍一遍重播跟读。
By forcing yourself to speak at native speed, your brain becomes hyper-receptive to what you are hearing, and you will find yourself not only picking up the words quicker and quicker, but also unconsciously mimicking the inflections and vocal nuances that are usually difficult to learn for a non-native. It will also fix the stammer that comes with uncertainty or lack of confidence. In this way, the actors in the movie become your speaking partners.
通过强迫自己跟上母语者的语速,你的大脑会变得更容易接收你所听到的内容,而且你会发现自己不仅识别单词越来越快,还无意中模仿了语音和语调,而这些通常是非母语者很难学会的。这也有助于纠正你因为不确定或缺乏自信而导致的口吃。通过这种方法,影片中的演员也可以成为你的口语搭档。
This will be perfect practice just before your interview. Look for some interview practice videos on YouTube, then shadow the entire conversation. Practice the same dialogs again and again. You will be amazed how that will improve not only your speaking, but also your ability to actively listen and react. Best of luck.
这个方法最适合在你面试前进行练习。在YouTube上搜一些面试练习的视频,影子跟读整个对话。反复练习同一个对话。你会惊讶地发现,这样做不仅会提高你的口语,还会提高你主动倾听和反应的能力。祝好运。

This is a technique known as 'shadowing' that I learnt in Japanese class, which I find tremendously helpful for short-term oral fluency improvement.
这是一种在日本的教室里被称为影子的技术。我发现这项技术对短时间内快速提高英语口语水平很有帮助。
Watch your favorite English language TV show or movie, and as the characters speak, repeat loudly the exact words they are saying the moment you hear them. In other words, 'shadow' their dialog in real-time. Don't worry about getting every word or sound right - focus on listening carefully, moving along quickly and keeping pace. After the movie ends, repeat the exact same movie and do it again. And again.
当你看你最喜欢的英语节目或者电影时,你可以大声重复他们的话。也就是说,在屏幕外做跟他们实时对话的影子。根本不必为发不出正确的读音担心,只要专心听就行了。跟着他的语速,电影结束后,重复上述操作,直到没有沉淀。。。。阿不,一遍一遍的重复就行了(化学作业太难!)
通过强迫自己的语速接近美国人,你的大脑,额,越来越习惯于这种速度。你会发现自己不仅拾取字词越来越快,而且会无意识的模仿细微的语调和声音。这是。。。非土著人很难学会的。不仅如此,电影中的人还会成为你的口语搭档。(安妮·海瑟薇!)
This will be perfect practice just before your interview. Look for some interview practice videos on YouTube, then shadow the entire conversation. Practice the same dialogs again and again. You will be amazed how that will improve not only your speaking, but also your ability to actively listen and react. Best of luck.
这将会是你面试前完美的练习。你可以在YouTube上寻找一些面试练习视频,然后像影子一样。。。练习吧,(不会翻)整个对话。通过多次练习相同的对话,你会发现,不仅提高了口语能力,还锻炼了听力和应变力。祝君好运!
再翻一篇就有传说中的“明星片”了!咩哈哈哈哈哈
快速提高过后需要长久的积淀才行

This is a technique known as 'shadowing' that I learnt in Japanese class, which I find tremendously helpful for short-term oral fluency improvement.
有一种技术叫做影子跟读,我在日语课上学到的。该方法对短期提升口语流利度有奇效。
Watch your favorite English language TV show or movie, and as the characters speak, repeat loudly the exact words they are saying the moment you hear them. In other words, 'shadow' their dialog in real-time. Don't worry about getting every word or sound right - focus on listening carefully, moving along quickly and keeping pace. After the movie ends, repeat the exact same movie and do it again. And again.
找一段你最喜欢的英语节目或者电影,然后在剧中人物说话的时候,大声的同步复制他们说的每一个词。就像是影子一样。不用担心出错,你只要专注于听,并且跟上节奏即可。一遍结束后,重复,到吐。
通过强迫自己达到母语者的语速,你的大脑会对你所听的内容开启H通道,然后你会发现不但分辨单词的速度越来越快,你还会无意识中习得语调和口音,而这对一般非母语人士而言是穷其一生也学不到的。此外,该方法还可治愈你心理因素导致的口吃。你看,剧中演员变成了你的口语搭档了。
This will be perfect practice just before your interview. Look for some interview practice videos on YouTube, then shadow the entire conversation. Practice the same dialogs again and again. You will be amazed how that will improve not only your speaking, but also your ability to actively listen and react. Best of luck.
对于你准备面试而言,此法实为业界最佳实践。你可以去YouTube上找一些面试的实况视频,影子跟读其中的完整对话,并且反复练习同一段对话。要不了多久你就会震惊的,不仅仅口语,听力和反应能力也会同步提高。祝好运。

This is a technique known as 'shadowing' that I learnt in Japanese class, which I find tremendously helpful for short-term oral fluency improvement.
这是一个叫‘影子跟读’的技术,是我在日本的课堂上学来的,我觉得对短期口语流畅度的提升有巨大帮助。
Watch your favorite English language TV show or movie, and as the characters speak, repeat loudly the exact words they are saying the moment you hear them. In other words, 'shadow' their dialog in real-time. Don't worry about getting every word or sound right - focus on listening carefully, moving along quickly and keeping pace. After the movie ends, repeat the exact same movie and do it again. And again.
看你最喜欢的英文节目或电影,当演员说话时,你听到的同时大声重复他们说的准确的单词。换句话说,实时“影出”他们的对话。别为每个单词或读音的对错而纠结-集中精力于仔细听、快速向前和保持节奏。影片结束后,重复同一部影片再做一次。然后再一次。
通过强迫你自己以自然的速度说话,你的大脑变得对你听到的有极强的接受能力,你将发现你自己不仅记忆单词越来越快,而且无意中模仿了对非本语种人十分难学的音调和细微的发音差异。那同样避免了因不确定或缺乏自信而产生的结巴。通过这种方法,电影中的演员成了你对话的同伴。
This will be perfect practice just before your interview. Look for some interview practice videos on YouTube, then shadow the entire conversation. Practice the same dialogs again and again. You will be amazed how that will improve not only your speaking, but also your ability to actively listen and react. Best of luck.
在你的面试之前,这会是很好的练习。在YouTube上找一些面试练习的录像,然后影读完整的对话。一遍遍地练习同一段对话。你将会对那不仅能提升你的口语水平,而且能提升你的积极反应能力而感到惊奇。祝你好运。

This is a technique known as 'shadowing' that I learnt in Japanese class, which I find tremendously helpful for short-term oral fluency improvement.
我在日本课堂上知道的一种能短期帮助你提高英语口语的叫「影子跟读」的学习技术。
Watch your favorite English language TV show or movie, and as the characters speak, repeat loudly the exact words they are saying the moment you hear them. In other words, 'shadow' their dialog in real-time. Don't worry about getting every word or sound right - focus on listening carefully, moving along quickly and keeping pace. After the movie ends, repeat the exact same movie and do it again. And again.
看着你喜欢的英文电视节目或电影,当里面的角色说话时,你跟着一词一词清晰地跟着大声说。换句话说,就是「如影随形」地模仿着他们的对话。别纠结着每个词的发音是否完全正确,你只要把注意力集中在「听」上面,然后保持着节奏跟着读就行了。影片播放完了,再一遍又一遍回放重新跟读就行了。
通过跟着母语速度的跟读,你的大脑会变得对听到的东西感到敏感,你会发现你对单词的辨析会越来越快,并且会在无意中学会了非本地人很难学会的语音语调。这样同时也还会纠正你的口吃,壮大你勇敢读下去的信心。通过这种方法,影片里的演员也可以成为你练习口语的搭档。。
This will be perfect practice just before your interview. Look for some interview practice videos on YouTube, then shadow the entire conversation. Practice the same dialogs again and again. You will be amazed how that will improve not only your speaking, but also your ability to actively listen and react. Best of luck.
在你面试之前这种练习会对你很有帮助。你可以在 YouTube 上搜索一些面试练习视频,影子跟读整个对话,然后一遍又一遍地练习那个对话。最后你会惊喜地发觉这样做不仅会提高你的口语,还会提高你的听力、反应。

我在上日语课的时候学了一个叫做影子的方法,我觉得这个方法对于短时间内提升口语流利度非常有帮助。
Watch your favorite English language TV show or movie, and as the characters speak, repeat loudly the exact words they are saying the moment you hear them. In other words, 'shadow' their dialog in real-time. Don't worry about getting every word or sound right - focus on listening carefully, moving along quickly and keeping pace. 看你最喜欢的英语电视节目或电影,并且在演员说话的时候,跟着大声重复他们说的每个词。换句话说,像影子一样实时跟着他们的对话。不要担心能否跟到每个词或者发音正不正确,把注意力放在认真听和迅速地跟着说上。 在电影结束后,重复同一部电影,然后再重复一遍。不断的重复。
通过强迫自己的语速跟上欧美人,你会变得高度接受你听到的,你会发现自己不仅仅能越来越快的跟上这些单词,还能不由自主地模仿语调和声音的细微变化,这些对英语非母语的人来讲是非常难学的。这同样会弥补不确定和不自信带来的结巴。用这种方法,电影里的演员变成了你的口语搭档。
This will be perfect practice just before your interview. Look for some interview practice videos on YouTube, then shadow the entire conversation. Practice the same dialogs again and again. You will be amazed how that will improve not only your speaking, but also your ability to actively listen and react. Best of luck.
这将使你面试前绝佳的练习。你可以在youtube上找一些面试练习,然后像影子一样跟着整个对话。重复练习相同的对话。你会惊讶的发现,不仅口语,连积极听力和反应力都会提高。祝你好运。

我比较倾向于“跟读”,如影随行有点魔幻了啊
Q: How do I improve my English speaking...
文章不长,翻的不错,也很快就看完了,抖胆给点小建议吧。整体来说翻译还是很好的,但在翻的时候,我注意到你会自觉或不自觉地省略掉一些细节信息,比如你翻译到的“心理因素”,其实具体是什么因素作者都有说明,但你概括之后就翻过了,这样在翻译中会导致不准确的情况,其他都是一些比较小的问题啦~
I tend to stammer when I do not have the exact answer framed in mind.
framed其实有强调构思,没有事先想好就容易结巴
I live in an isolated area. So, I do not have friends to interact with so that I could practice speaking English.
这就是我最开始说的那个问题了,你翻译的其实是so that后面的部分,“我因为生活环境的原因,没有朋友可以一起练习口语。”具体是什么原因呢?作者其实有说明的,这里漏译了。
I need a quick remedy of sorts because I have got a job interview in the next 20 days or even less.
in the next 20 days,如果翻译成还有不到20天,就是把后面的even less合并了,应该是还有20天,甚至更短的时间就要面试了。
This is a technique known as 'shadowing' that I learnt in Japanese class
shadowing可以翻做跟读,根据百度百科,所谓跟读,即听着别人的朗读,自己看着文章文本,朗读文章,尽量与别人的朗读速读保持一致。不过作者文中写的并不是看着文本跟读,而是听到什么说什么。
更正:好吧,我刚刚去确认了一下,正确翻译应该是影子跟读!
Watch your favorite English language TV show or movie, and as the characters speak, repeat loudly the exact words they are saying the moment you hear them.
这里有个搭配问题,我们常说一个节目,一部电影,作者文中表示的是一整部电影跟读完,所以不是一段。在翻译得时候,其实不一定非要把这个“一”翻出来。
后面表示的是,在听到人物说话的同时,大声重复他们说过的每一个单词。一个是要强调出hear,另一个,同步复制,我们一般不这么说对吧?我们会说同时复述,翻完之后可以通读一下全文,想想不顺口的地方换做自己会怎么表达。
In other words, 'shadow' their dialog in real-time.
换句话说,就是要实时“跟踪”他们的对话。
By forcing yourself to speak at native speed, your brain becomes hyper-receptive to what you are hearing
后面可以说是“高速接收”吧,开启H通道,嗯……我是不知道是不是有这么个说法啦,如果不是常见的说法,这么翻了容易迷糊哦
but also unconsciously mimicking the inflections and vocal nuances that are usually difficult to learn for a non-native.
你这里翻译得太夸张了,usually difficult to learn for a non-native,对于非母语学习者而言是很难学会的。很多时候我们能做到正确读出每个单词,但未必能说出一口顺溜的句子,就像你听一个老外说中文,仔细听大部分字词发音都是对的吧,但听整句话就很别扭,因为语调不对,我们说英语的时候也会有这个问题,这个很难纠正,但不是只有少数人才能习得,也不是穷其一生也学不到的。
It will also fix the stammer that comes with uncertainty or lack of confidence.
如最开始所说的,漏译了。
Q: How do I improve my English...
明信片的动力是如此之大哇~
How do I improve my English speaking skills in a very short time?
说得有道理,我是受到“快速提高口语”什么的影响太深了
I am not good at speaking English. I tend to stammer when I do not have the exact answer framed in mind.
第一句翻反了吧。
后面的framed,其实可以理解为构思,脑袋里没有事先想好怎么说的话就会结巴。
I live in an isolated area. So, I do not have friends to interact with so that I could practice speaking English
isolated可以指偏远的,偏僻的,An isolated place is a long way away from large towns and is difficult to reach.
因为住得很偏,所以旁边没有可以交流的朋友,因此没法找人练习口语。
I need a quick remedy of sorts because I have got a job interview in the next 20 days or even less.
of sorts,勉强称得上…的;低劣的;一般的;起码的,If you describe something as a thing of sortsor as a thing of a sort, you are suggesting that the thing is of a rather poor quality or standard.
This is a technique known as 'shadowing' that I learnt in Japanese class
shadowing可以翻做跟读,根据百度百科,所谓跟读,即听着别人的朗读,自己看着文章文本,朗读文章,尽量与别人的朗读速读保持一致。不过作者文中写的并不是看着文本跟读,而是听到什么说什么。更正:好吧,我刚刚去确认了一下,正确翻译应该是影子跟读!
后面的short-term oral fluency improvement就是口语,不是单指英语口语,这个方法也是作者从日语课上学来的。
Watch your favorite English language TV show or movie, and as the characters speak, repeat loudly the exact words they are saying the moment you hear them. In other words, 'shadow' their dialog in real-time.
这两句翻得比较乱,是不是没太看懂,或者不知道怎么说?
在听到人物说话的同时,大声重复他们说过的每一个单词。换句话说,就是要实时“跟踪”他们的对话。
By forcing yourself to speak at native speed, your brain becomes hyper-receptive to what you are hearing, and you will find yourself not only picking up the words quicker and quicker...
感觉你翻译的时候脑洞好大 = =,强迫自己以母语者的语速说话,大脑就会高速接收你所听到的内容。后面的pick up words,应该是和前文的不用担心犯错相对应,作者说了,Don't worry about getting every word or sound right对吧?你跟读的时候肯定一下子是跟不上那个速度的,有的词没听清或者读请,词不对,或者发音不对,人家就告诉你,不要纠结。后面就说,慢慢的就会发现自己跟得上了,也能听出、读出正确的词了。
Q: How do I improve my English speaking...
额,好像先占着然后就没有了……
那就看看你已经翻了的这部分吧~framed,其实可以理解为构思,脑袋里没有事先想好怎么说的话就会结巴。
&Q: How do I improve my English speaking...
我想了想,也有可能是先卖了萌,然后编辑掉了所以我没看到啊~
I am not good at speaking English. I tend to stammer when I do not have the exact answer framed in mind.
framed其实可以理解为构思,脑袋里没有事先想好怎么说的话就会结巴。
I live in an isolated area. So, I do not have friends to interact with so that I could practice speaking English
isolated可以指偏远的,偏僻的,An isolated place is a long way away from large towns and is difficult to reach.
因为住得很偏,所以旁边没有可以交流的朋友,因此没法找人练习口语。
What is the maximum that I can do about it?
这里可以理解成尽力而为吧?
This is a technique known as 'shadowing' that I learnt in Japanese class, which I find tremendously helpful for short-term oral fluency improvement.
翻的有点乱昂,这其实是两个句子,没必要一定要合到一起的。前面是说在日语课学到了一种叫影子跟读的方法,后面说,作者觉得这个对短期内提高英语口语很有效。
Don't worry about getting every word or sound right
不是词的发音,是词和发音
It will also fix the stammer that comes with uncertainty or lack of confidence.
that后面的部分是用来修饰stammer的,由于没把握、没信心而导致口吃。
同样练习口语中,学习学习~**Q: How do I improve my En...
说到口语,我感觉即使平时不何人对话,偶尔读读文章都是有助益的,主要是能保持舌头是灵活的,真正开口说话的时候不会因为大舌头而无法准确表达自己的想法,或者明明以前能说好说对的东西,后来也说不清楚了。敢于开口真的很重要啊!

并不是只有欧美人才是English native speaker,你可以说,强迫自己用母语者的语速说英语
Look for some interview practice videos on YouTube, then shadow the entire conversation.
这里的shadow可以说是前面shadowing的动词了,可以直接翻成,跟读整个对话。
You will be amazed how that will improve not only your speaking, but also your ability to actively listen and react.
acitvely你说积极地不是不对,但用在这里不准确,用“主动地”会更好些。
