Avalia??o da din?mica de fragmentos de diferentes tamanhos na bacia do rio Guapi-Macacu
A serrapilheira é um importante constituinte do compartimento florestal. S?o vários os fatores que podem influenciar a deposi??o deste material, sendo os fatores climáticos e estruturais os mais discutidos uma vez que apontam o potencial desse compartimento para estimar a din?mica dos remanescentes florestais em resposta às tens?es ambientais. Este estudo teve como objetivo avaliar a quantidade e a qualidade do aporte de serrapilheira em fragmentos florestais inseridos na bacia do rio Guapi Macacu, considerando a interferência da intensidade do uso do seu entorno, onde o cultivo de milho foi considerado uso intensivo e pastagem foi considerado uso extensivo. A serapilheira coletada foi separada em fra??es, sendo: galhos, folhas inteiras, folhas decompostas e estruturas reprodutivas. As amostras foram coletadas em dois períodos, nas esta??es seca e chuvosa. A esta??o seca foi a de maior acumulo de serrapilheira, quando comparada à esta??o chuvosa. Os fragmentos submetidos a uso mais intensivo do seu entorno apresentaram uma maior deposi??o de serrapilheira, destacadamente no período seco, sendo a fra??o galhos aquela que apresentou maior contribui??o no total da serrapilheira coletada. The litter is an important constituent of the forest compartment. There are several factors that can influence the deposition of this material, and climatic factors and structural most discussed as potential point of that compartment to estimate the dynamics of forest remnants in response to environmental stress. This study aimed to evaluate the quantity and quality of the contribution of litter in forest fragments embedded in the river basin Guapi Macacu, considering the interference of the intensity of the use of your surroundings, where the cultivation of corn was considered intensive and pasture use was considered extensive. The collected litter was separated into fractions, as follows: branches, entire leaves, decomposed leaves and reproductive structures. The samples were collected in two periods in the dry and rainy seasons. The dry season was greater accumulation of litter, compared to season rain. Os fragments subjected to more intensive use of their environment had a greater deposition of litter, prominently in the dry season, and the fraction of branches to have the highest contribution in total of litter collected.
