　　是美国大学的入学标准化考试，包括阅读，写作和数学三个部分。目前，大部分的美国大学都需要SAT成绩，以供学校做为评选学生时的参考指标。、写作和阅读考试每项考试都以200～800分数等级评分，因此SAT总分范围是 从600分低分到2400高分。美国全国的平均分约为1550分。
　　虽然各个学校对于SAT成绩的录取分数，是根据情况而定，并没有准确的入学SAT成绩要求，但是排名越高的美国大学，学生入学的SAT成绩就越高是不变的事实。
　　专家根据对美国大学的SAT成绩进行的总结发现，美国大学SAT成绩根据排名的变化还是比较明显的：
　　美国前100名大学：SAT1800、25、GPA3.49以上，500/180/70
　　美国前50名大学：SAT1900、ACT29、GPA3.75以上，托福520/210/80
　　美国前20名大学：100、ACT32、GPA4.0以上，托福600/250/100
　　当然，这些学校当中有很多都是不需要SAT成绩的。无SAT成绩要求的美国大学有三种情况：
　　一种是学校本身就不需要任何申请人提供SAT成绩，这样的美国大学一般排名在50到100左右。
　　无SAT成绩要求的另外一种情况就是，由于中国没有SAT考点，所以有一些美国大学会对中国的申请人提供更多的考试选择机会，也就是说，中国的考生在申请这样的大学的时候，可以选择ACT或者等来代替SAT考试成绩。
　　当然这种情况不是很多。据小马过河专家总结，美国综合排名前50 的学校中有9所大学是可以没有SAT成绩的，这其中包括了芝加哥大学、杜克大学等顶级大学。
　　最后就是，考生是采用转学的方式到美国大学读书，这个方式的前提条件是，考生已经在读大学(无论是还是专科)。
