　　1、旅客买好车票后，如不能按票面指定的日期、车次乘车时，可以在列车开车前到发站签证窗口(或指定窗口，代售点不办理)办理提前或改晚乘车签证手续。 办理改晚乘车签证手续时，最迟不超过开车后 2小时(团体旅客必须在开车48小时前办理)。
　　2、改晚乘车签证手续必须在不延长客票有效期的前提下才可办理。比如： 某次列车从某站15:00开，第二日23:00到终到站，全程1490公里，运行32小时,1日乘车2日到。1490公里有限期三日(1-3号)。
　　3、如改签2号同一车次，那么3号23:00就能到达终到站，可以改签。 某次列车从某站23:30开，第三日0:30到终到站，全程1490公里，运行25小时,1日乘车3日到。1490公里有限期三日(1-3号)。 如改签2号同一车次，那么要到4号才能到达终到站，那就不能改签同一车次，要改2日早点开的车，必须在3号晚24时前到达终到站。
　　3、 办理提前乘车不受有效期限制，从实际乘车日起重新计算有效期。比如： 购买10日的某次车，有效期4天，有效期到13日。改签7日乘车，那有效期到10日。 旅客在发站办理改签时，改签后的车次票价高于原票价时，补收票价差额;改签后的车次票价低于原票价时，退还票价差额。 旅客在发站办理车票改签时，车站会收回原票换发新票，票面打印&始发改签&字样。 改签只可以办理一次。往返票、联程票、卧铺票不办理改签

　　网上可以在预售期内可以改签任何一天的，如果你已经取了纸质车票，车站窗口只能在4天以内改签。
　　12306改签时间限制
　　1、开车前48小时以上。您可以可以改签预售期内的其他车次。什么意思呢?例如，一般火车票的预售期现在是60天，您可以改签为60天内的其他车次。
　　2、距开车已经不足48小时(包含)。您可以到改签开车前的其他车次，也可以改签开车后至当日24点之前的其他车次。意思就是您可以改签提前乘车，也可以改签开车后当天的其他车次，但是不能改签到开车第二天的车次了。
　　3、开车前2两小时。开车前两小时网上已经不能办理改签，须持购票时的有效身份证件原件和车票，前往火车站办理改签。
　　4、开车后。开车后乘客依然可以改签当日其他车次，但是只能在票面发站办理，网上自然也不能改签了。
