授人以渔：如何找到一个英语单词的近义词
什么英语单词或词组能准确表达「某人有一定的经验，于某个方面比较专业，但还达不到专家的水平」之意？

我模仿一下知乎上还算流行的「授人以渔」的办法吧。
题主的问题属于「知道几个单词，但不知道这些单词的准确内涵」，或者「想知道含义相近而内涵不同的词」。我们先看「查近义词」的办法： 。
这个页面设计不是特别考究的网站就是了。Thesaurus 这个词的意思，大致可以理解成「同义词汇编手册」。《Friends》里 Joey 曾经把这个单词的发音弄错。
输入「Expert」，搜索一下近义词。
马上出来很多结果。注意 expert 一词下面的选项卡，是有「adj」和「noun」两个界面的。
一般来说，越靠后的结果含义相差越大，或者越生僻。查看这些「同义词」查询结果，我们可以选出「adept」，「proficient」等备选词。
