Maria Shriver: I left my baby in the car!

Shares 0As moms, we likely all have moments we wish we could forget. For busy mom-of-four Maria Shriver, it’s the time she left her baby in the car!
Maria says that one day she was in such a rush to get her daughters to their softball game that she parked her car, hurried her girls across the street to the field, took a seat in the bleachers and then thought, “there is something missing here.” She describes the awful moment:
“I’m never alone. I should not be alone. I have a baby and the baby is in the car! I ran back across the street so fast. I thought somebody would find the baby, even though I was gone a minute or two. I was sobbing and crying. He was like sleeping soundly, no problem, and I was so horrified that I had done that!”
I can just imagine her sheer panic when she realized her mistake! Thankfully it all turned out okay in the end.
