大理医学院坐落在云南省大理市下关人民南路44号，学院现占地约16公顷，建筑面积4万多平方米。大理医学院是云南省属的地方本科医学院校，日，正式成立并于当年招收首届医学专业本科生。
2001年10月，经教育部批准，医|学教育网搜集整理大理医学院和大理师范高等专科学校合并；云南省政府决定，云南广播电视大学大理分校和大理工业学校并入，正式组建大理大学。

云南大理医学院成教高考2016年招生简介
大理学院是一所有着30多年本科办学历史的云南省省属综合性本科院校。有2所直属附属医院，3所非直属附属医院；。学校现有16个校属学院，在校全日制本、专科生、硕士研究生17000多人，各类留学生700多人，成人学历教育学生19000多人；有涵盖医学、教育学、文学、管理学、农学等10个学科门类，48个本科专业；4个一级学科硕士点，1个硕士学业学位授权点，28个二级学科硕士点，是省级理想建设新增博士学位授予单位。
我院位于国家级历史文化名城、国家级风景名胜区、国家优秀旅游城市、全国最佳魅力城市等多项桂冠的滇西中心城市——大理。大理学院成教院以提高教学质量、以就近学习为宗旨，已在我省各地区建立教学点，于2013年在昆明地区建立“大理学院继续教育学院昆明教学点”以方便广大同学就近选择我校上学。

大理医学院成人高考昆明教学点报名须知
一、大理学院成人教育各类专业、各层次报考将严格按照《云南省各类成人高等学校招生简章》规定执行。
二、根据教育部有关规定：报考成人高等学校本科层次（医学类）各专业考生，须已取得卫生、医药职业资格的医药人员。
三、招生对象：
1、专科起点升本科招收具有国民教育系列（含自学考试）专科及以上毕业证书的从业人员；医学类专业起点升本科专业招收具有国民学历教育系列（含自学考试）医学类及以上毕业证书及卫生类职业资格的从业人员。
2、专业、医学类专业招收具有中专、高中及相当学历文化程度的从业人员。
四、报名材料：
专升本：专科毕业证原件（查验）、复印件各一份，身份证复印件一份。
高起专：毕业证原价（查验）、复印件各一份，身份证复印件一份。
五、考试时间：成人高等学历全国统一考试时间为10月25、26日。
六、毕业待遇：经考核合格者，由学校统一颁发国家成人学历毕业证，享受国家规定的有关待遇，本科学生毕业符合条件者可授予相应学士学位。所获得毕业证书均可在“中国高等教育学生信息网”可查，学历查询网址：。
七、报名方式：考生自行到教学点报名，由教学点统一报考。
八、报名时间：即日起至8月底。

根据云南省招生考试院云招考院〔号云南省招生考试院关于转发《教育部关于做好2014年全国成人高校招生工作的通知》和〔号文件云南省招生考试院关于印发《云南省2014年各类成人高等学校、成人中等专业学校招生工作实施办法》的通知精神，现将2014年成人高考报名时间及考试安排通知如下：
一、网上报名时间：8月1日—20日
二、确认时间：8月15日—9月5日。
考生必须到确认点现场照相确认。
①昆明市区教育局指定确认点确认。
② 其他各县考生到当地教育局确认。
三、报名必交材料

An Extraordinary Change of Direction
Molly Wilson had been a dancer and a mother for many years when she decided to sail round the world to raise money for charity.
As a child she had trained as a ballet dancer, but at 15 she had grown too tall for classical ballet, so she became a member of a pop dance team.
She got married, and after she had children she retired from show business to bring them up. They grew up, and when they were 18 they left home.
She says, “When I decided to do the round-the-world race, my husband thought I was bored because the children had left home. He was also worried because I had never sailed before. I was not bored, but I had met some people who told me about the race.
They had taken part in it, but they had only done one section, say, from New Zealand to Australia. I wanted to do the whole ten-month journey.”
Before Molly left she did a lot of training, but it hadn’t prepared her for the worst weather which they experienced. She tells one story. “One night the sea was very rough and it was very cold. I had gone downstairs when a huge wave smashed into the boat and injured two men on the deck. One of the men couldn’t move because he had broken his leg. They were taken to hospital by helicopter. That was the worst time.”
