西南交通大学硕士研究生学位论文 第l页 摘要 在西方，隐喻的研究可以追溯到两千多年以前的古希腊时期。此后， 各个领域
的学者从不同的方面入手，对隐喻这一现象做了大量卓有成效的研究。 近年来，隐
喻研究更是成为一个跨学科的话题。从20世纪60年代开始，语言学家和哲学家对隐
喻现象进行了广泛的研究，其中功能语言学和认知语言学在隐喻研究方面取得了较丰
硕的成果。韩礼德提出的语法隐喻理论，它作为系统功能语法理论的一个重要组成部
分，不仅为阐述隐喻本质提供了新的视角，而且进一步展示了隐喻的认知价值，揭示
了语法隐喻所具有的重塑人类经验的功能。为人类经验重构提供了新的视角。 韩礼德在的《功能语法入门》一书中对语法隐喻有专门叙述，主要
提出了概念隐喻和人际隐喻两个概念。他进一步指出人际隐喻包括语气隐喻和情态隐
本文试图将韩礼德提出的情态隐喻理论应用于汉语的研究中，采用英汉对比的
方法对英语和汉语中情态隐喻进行对比。 作者从功能语言学的情态隐喻出发，采用定性和定量相结合的研究方法，对英国
著名作家简?奥斯丁的经典著作《傲慢与偏见》及其王科一先生的汉译本进行对比分
析。通过对语料的分析发现：1 英汉文本在情态隐喻的向度，价值，归一度，类型
几个方面的有很多相似性，但也存在不少的差异；2 该论文探讨了造成这些差异的
原因：迎合目标读者，归化策略以及译者的主观性。该研究有助于将韩礼德的情态隐
喻理论用于《傲慢与偏见》文本的解读，是对实用理论的进一步丰富。同时本论文有
利于语言学习者学习目的语文化，以及英语的教授和学习。
