Mr. Islam has also worked in humanitarian projects in disaster affected belt of Bangladesh to gain the disaster resilience concept from the root level.
Currently he is working with GIZ as Expert of Capacity Development where he is responsible for identifying the problem and prospects of 4 municipalities, help them to enhance their capacity and skill for ensuring better service delivery.
He holds Bachelor of Urban and Rural Planning (from Khulna University, Bangladesh) & postgraduate degrees – Master of Development Studies.
