Channel Island Heritage Festival
From 3rd April – 11th May the Channel Island Heritage Festival will run over five weeks, across all Channel Islands.
There will be unique access and open doors to wartime bunkers, historic towers and side events to boot.
The Channel Islands will put out their Liberation flags on Saturday 9th May.
National Trust of Guernsey’s Folk & Costume Museum will, as always, be celebrating island heritage and participate in this year’s festival with a Heritage Open Day on Tuesday 7th April with special events and activities.

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. - The CSU student accused of
is also accused of attacking two deputies at the Larimer County jail. reports emergency crews with Poudre Valley Hospital were treating a patient on campus in Fort Collins early Sunday morning, and when they returned to their parking spot, their ambulance was gone.The ambulance, which had a GPS system on board, was tracked to Loveland, and police found 18-year-old Stefan Sortland standing next to the rig wearing an EMT vest. Officers shot him with a stun gun when he refused their commands.Sortland was taken to the Larimer County jail to face charges including aggravated vehicle theft, obstructing EMS, reckless driving, hit-and-run, criminal mischief and unlawful possession of a controlled substance.
The Larimer County Sheriff's Office said a few hours later, when Sortland was in the booking area at the jail, he attacked two deputies bringing him lunch.Sortland is accused of punching one deputy in the face causing a concussion and facial swelling, officials said.A second deputy suffered an abrasion and finger sprain during attempts to gain control of Sortland, according to the Sheriff's Office.Sortland is expected to face additional criminal charges of assault for the jail incident.}
