With fuss over the content of late night anime as vociferous asever, anime fans have been pondering the question of whether there really areany late night anime titles which are safe for family viewing, and if so, what theyare.

My parents think thatmy brother and I have mental issues just because at&30yo we still watch anime.
My mother thinks anything drawn should be&funny& like Tom&Jerry or Looney Tunes, otherwise it's &boring& and&stupid&. I tried showing her something easy, like Cagliostro or other Miyazaki/Ghiblimovies (surely Totoro), but to no avail.

whatever the reason or the genre they dontknow that i watched those kind of anime e.g. higurashi,elfen,DMWLandor any oppai anime, for my parents anime is justcartoons then cartoons is for kids so anime is for kids which is WRONG1

Aside for porn, I watch everything on theliving room tv. My mother, who&#39;s in her 60&#39;s, has watched everything I have(ranging from Lilpri to Qwaser to KISSxSIS). Much of the anime she&#39;s watched,she&#39;s enjoyed. =/ People need to grow up and stop being prudes abouteverything.

Some parents aren&#39;t exactly as accepting ofthings as other parents. My parents are pretty easy going about that stuff butmy Mom almost spat out what she was drinking when she saw the cover of thethird volume of Mahou Sensei Negima. I&#39;ve watch a lot of anime with her though,like Gundam Seed, Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, and a few other things, butI know there&#39;s stuff she just won&#39;t like so I don&#39;t share it with her.
有些父母就是不能接受其他父母所接受的东西啦。我双亲对这些东西都挺宽容的，但我妈看《魔法老师》第三册封面的时候差点把口里喝的东西全喷出来。尽管我和她看过不少动画，比如《高达Seed》、《钢之炼金术师》、《死亡笔记》之类，但我知道有些东西她就是无法接受，所以我也不会跟她分享。

Potemayo was the greatest. Don&#39;t know whyit would be on the late night list unless it didn&#39;t want grown adults doing thesound effects &#39;ssquuueeesssshiiieeeeeessssshhhh&#39; that they made.

My mother likes Anime because of the artand style. I wish I could show her some that would suit her taste art wise, butare all way to ecchi. Ironically, she has no problem with, and has very muchenjoyed any guro/yandere style shows. Higurashi, Blood-C, Madoka, etc, but ecchistuff I would be very conservative about.

Anon 08:09 - One of the&problems& is that many would-be-okay-for-family anime get moved outof that category by (many-times pointless) sex or violence.I&#39;m thinking specifically of &Tsubasa no Honneamise&, which would have beenfamily-ok, except for the rape scene.
其中一个&问题&是，很多&应该适合家庭观看&的动画需要剔除许多无谓的色情暴力场面。
特别是《王立宇宙军》，要是没有那段强奸情节的话绝对适合家庭观看。

My mom loves anything miyazaki related. She&#39;s also a fan ofclassical music so Nodame Cantabile is like her new fav atm. English dub (whichis amazingly good) is available right now for free on crackle :)Truly a show for the family right there.
我妈只要是宫崎老头儿有关的东西都喜欢。她还是个古典音乐的粉丝，所以《交响情人梦》就是她最喜欢的动画。现在都可以在免费下到英文字幕啦（而且还好到不行）。
这就是真正给家庭一起看的节目啦。
