复活节英语作文：复活节

　　easter is celebrated on the weekend after the first full moon that follows march 21. that means in some years it‘s in late march, and other years in april. the word easter comes from the old english name for the saxon1 goddess of dawn called eostre. she was worshipped(敬奉) in the spring. in canada, the easter season is also a time for celebrating the rebirth of nature. the long cold winter is beginning to melt into(融合) spring.
　　while all canadians celebrate the return of the warm weather, there is another meaning to easter. christians rejoice2 because they believe that jesus christ rose from the dead on easter sunday three days after he was crucified(钉十字架上处死) on good friday. to celebrate the miracle3 of his resurrection(复活), they attend churches filled with candles and white lilies (百合花) on easter sunday. the lilies symbolize (象征) hope and rebirth. a lot of communities (社会) have easter parades (游行), some religious, others with brightly decorated floats(彩车), costumes4 and hats.1&&&

　　英国大部分节日都起源于宗教。复活节发生在过了春分月圆后的第一个星期日，原是纪念西亚异教神明巴力的同父异母妹妹亚斯塔路降生的日子，亚斯塔路也是巴力的情妇。相传巴力得知妹妹亚斯塔路生于一枚天鹅蛋中，就去灌木中寻找;找到了，就抱在怀里孵化出了一只兔子;兔子长大后成了一个美女，和巴力同居，后来在巴力危难之际还救过巴力一命。英语单词easter的词源就是亚斯塔路。　　习俗　　圣诞节一过，复活节巧克力蛋便在糖果店里摆出来了。那些最小和花样最简单的很便宜，孩子们用自己的零花钱就可以买下来。这段时期上市的彩蛋有两种。小的一种叫方旦糖，长一英寸多一点，外面是一层薄薄的巧克力，里面是又甜又软的面团，然后再用彩色的锡箔纸包装成各种形状。另外一种是空蛋，稍微大一点，一般比鸭蛋还大一点。里面什么也没有，只是包着一个巧克力外壳。只需打碎外壳，吃巧克力片。 复活节临近时，糖果店的橱窗里会摆满比这些更精美的彩蛋。同时还有各种各样的用来吸引孩子们的小礼物出售。上面装饰有毛绒绒的羊毛做的小鸡，小鸡的嘴和脚都粘在卡片上。幸运的孩子可能从亲友那儿得到好几种这样的礼物。

复活节彩蛋是西方在庆祝复活节时特别装饰性的蛋。 彩蛋一般事前藏好，然后，由儿童来寻找。是复活节的象征性物品，是表达友谊，关爱和祝愿的方式。 基督教徒以复活彩蛋比喻为“新生命的开始”象征“耶稣复活，走出石墓。”
我们学校也组织了一次找彩蛋赢奖品的活动。比赛开始了，同学们有的分组，有的急着要找到彩蛋，有的小组在分头找着彩蛋。我们探索队的人也不甘落后在花圃，植园，松树等这样的地方仔仔细细地观察了一遍可还是没有，后来我们就回到了班上一看时间还多，就又查了一遍，可是还是没有找到。最后，我放弃了，回到了班上，居然被赵士豪找到了，我对自己很失望，也很难过。不过我安静地想了一会儿，我不应该对自己失望和难过，我应该像小骆驼一样感到自豪才对，因为我虽然没有找到，可是我在这游戏里收获了很多知识。

你应该怎么过这个星期日呢？或许老外们不清楚清明节的习俗，自顾自载歌载舞，但这不妥吧？你该怎么向他们解释？

首先，你要告诉他们清明节是个逝者的节日，但如果直接说&die&又缺乏对逝者的尊重，所以你可以用这4种说法来替代：
Deceased: someone who has died, especially recently.

Departed: dead - used in order to avoid saying the word 'dead'.

Gone: use this when you want to avoid saying the word 'die'

例：At lease, I hope his eternal sleep saves him from sufferings.
让老外明白&Qingming Festival&实际上是祭奠逝者的&Tomb Sweeping Day&，我想他们也能理解这一天应该有怎样的氛围了。不过巧合的是，复活节正好又是庆祝逝者（耶稣）复活的日子，那么与&死&相对的&复生&的英文又该怎么说呢？
Resurrection: the return of Jesus Christ to life after his death on the cross, which is one of the main beliefs of the Christian religion.
例：Christians celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the Easter Day.
Bring back to life: to make someone or some living creature come back to life.
例：The people who are really dead cannot be brought back to life.
Revive: to become healthy and strong again, or to make someone or something healthy and strong again.
例：He was dying, but the doctor revived him.
Reborn: to be born again, especially according to some beliefs, ancient stories etc.
例：I felt reborn when I first met you.
相信这8句句子有助于你表明这两个节日的根本区别：清明节，人们要纪念逝去的家人；复活节，人们要庆祝耶稣的复活。不要在不同的场合做出相反的举动，让这个节日更加纠结了。
