A man is being questioned in relation to the ________ murder last night.
  A. advised&&&&& B. attended&&&&&&&& C. attempted&&&&&& D. admitted
  【例2】(2005年江苏卷)________ in the mountains for a week, the two students were finally saved by the local police.
  A. Having lost&&&&&&&& B. Lost&&&&&&&&&&& C. Being lost&&&&&&&& D. Losing
1】 The old man, ____________abroad for twenty years, is on the way back to his motherland.
  A. to work&&&& B. working&&&& C. to have worked&&& D. having worked
He was educated at the local high school, _______he went on to Beijing University.
  A. after which&& B. after that&& C. in which&& D. in that
  答案:A
He was educated at the local high school,表示“在当地高中受教育后上了北京大学”。
I will give you my friend’s home address, ________ I can be reached most evenings.
  A. which&&& B. when&&& C. whom&&& D. where
1】Later in this chapter cases will be introduced to readers ???________ consumer complaints have resulted in changes in the law.(2007江西卷)
  A. where&&& B. when&&& C. who&& D. which
  答案:A
case常用于固定短语in this case中,所以,空格部分可填where 或 in which。
  【例2】For many cities in the world, there is no room to spread out further, ________ New York is an example.
  A. for which&& B. in which&& C. of which& D. from which

如何区分现在完成时和过去完成时如:——(迷失在山中一个星期),the two students were finally saved by the local police .(lose ) 答案是having been lost for aweek 为什么不是had been …
The test finished,we began our holiday.= When the test was finished,we began our holiday. The president assassinated,the whole country was in deep sorrow.= After the president was assassinated,the whole country was in deep sorrow. Weather permitting,we are going to visit you tomorrow. This done,we went home. The meeting gone over,everyone tired to go home earlier. He came into the room,his ears red with cold. He came out of the library,a large book under his arm. He stood there,his hand raised.= He stood there,with his hand raise. The murderer was brought in,with his hands ___ behind his back.A.being tied B.having tied C.to be tied D.tied答案D.with +名词(代词)+分词+介词短语结构. A robber burst into the room,knife in hand.(hand前不能加his)劫匪冲进房间,手里拿着刀.2) 当表示人体部位的词做逻辑主语时,及物动词用现在分词,不及物动词用过去分词.例如:He lay there,his teeth set,his hand clenched,his eyes looking straight up. Weather___,we”ll go out for a walk.A permitted B permitting C permits D for permitting答案B. If weather permits,we”ll go out for a walk.

having been lost 对,因为有时间状语for a week ,所以有较明显的时间先后顺序.
having been lost因为后面有for a week做前提就用完成时啊
having been lost明显有时间的先后顺序嘛(for a week),用完成时比较好
