  团购网站纷纷在3·15晚会之前推出各种退款服务,与其说是尊重消费者权益、促进行业规范化发展,倒不如说是为了应对3·15晚会而提前进行的危机公关。
  近日,美团网宣布将为所有购买团购券过期未消费的用户全额退款,涉及金额高达1800万元。此后,多家团购网站相继跟进,推出了各种形式的退款服务。据了解,消费者过期未消费的团购券金额约占团购交易总额的5%~10%,是团购网站的重要收入来源。一些媒体对美团此举大加赞赏,并称美团因破坏行业潜规则而受到同行诋毁。
  交易未完成,消费者就不必付费是天经地义的。消费者通过团购网站购买了产品或服务之后并未消费,要求退款是理所应当的事情,而团购网站却以“消费者是因个人原因未能消费”为由拒绝退款,显然有违公平交易原则。因此,过期退款服务的推出本是纠正了之前的错误,而某些网站借此大肆炒作,显然是在作秀。
  头顶“中国首家团购网站”光环的美团近日迎来上线一周年。但这个“生日”王兴过得并不轻松。2月末,美团推出了DQ冰雪皇后现金券,但与美团签订合作协议的是DQ公司的某一渠道商,而非DQ公司本身。因低价协议损害了其他渠道商的利益,DQ公司以合同不真实为由宣称此次活动无效。
  利益受损的岂止是其他渠道商?还有已经付费的12003名美团用户!消费者指责声不断,加之行业竞争激烈、离职员工爆料其内部管理混乱,美团在此时推出过期退款服务,实在是维护企业形象的无奈之举,而并非为了促进行业健康发展。
  2010年央视3·15晚会曝光惠普电脑质量门之后,惠普电脑在中国的市场份额从17%下跌至不到10%。如今,3·15再次临近,据称此次3·15晚会的曝光重点将是以团购网站为主的电子商务企业。团购网站纷纷在3·15晚会之前推出各种退款服务,与其说是尊重消费者权益、促进行业规范化发展,倒不如说是为了应对3·15晚会而提前进行的危机公关。
  不可否认,美团过期退款服务,如果能够在业内引起连锁反应,令其他团购网站不得不跟进,的确有利于保障消费者的利益,使团购业更加诚信,但占交易总额5%~10%的丰厚利润诱惑,团购网站岂会轻易放手?且不说其他团购网站是否会跟进,即便是已经做出承诺的美团,能否将1800万元全部退还给消费者,我们也不得而知。
  正如某团购网站高管所言,“团购网站不能一味退款,更重要是做好服务,减少消费者的退款申诉,平衡消费者、商家与团购网站三方的利益,形成良性循环。”团购网站与其将力气花在搞小动作、炒作上,不如将其用在更严格地审查商家资质、细化合作细节以及提高客服应对能力上。因为消费者希望的并不是购买了团购券不去消费,然后再索要退款,而是希望通过团购享受到高性价比的服务。
