基于概念整合理论的OVER，ABOVE和ON的空间隐喻拓展研究
【摘要】：本文从认知语言学的视角,采用Fauconnier和Turner的概念整合理论探讨了介词的空间隐喻拓展。概念整合被看作是自然语言意义建构过程中一种极其普遍的认知过程。由于隐喻现象中同样包含着概念合成这种认知过程,因此本文尝试运用该理论来分析和阐释OVER,ABOVE and ON的空间隐喻拓展现象。本文选取三个意思相近的介词OVER,ABOVE和ON为切入点,探究其空间概念(Input Space I1)与不同的输入空间(Input Space I2)如何合成从而构建不同的目标空间。其语料库由九本字典和新概念第三、四册以及生而为赢—新东方英语背诵美文30篇等构成。
全文由五部分组成,前三章分别为研究背景,文献综述和理论框架。第四章为文章的主体部分。在该章中作者首先采取定性研究方法,利用意象图式界定了介词的各空间意义,然后基于各空间意义依次得出其隐喻拓展意义。最后总结得出OVER的隐喻拓展主要集中在以下领域：权力与社会地位,时间和数量领域,主要的拓展意义有：“数量上多于”,“时间上的持续”,“目标”,和“控制”。有些拓展意义,比如说“数量上多于”可以与ABOVE相互替代；而“通过……的方式”则可以与ON相互代替。第五章为全文的结论部分,即证明了概念整合理论对于介词的空间隐喻拓展同样具有解释力。
